Hello there!

I’m a research scientist, roboticist and ethical designer.

Currently, I’m a PhD student in human-robot interaction at the University of Cambridge. Previously, I was a visiting student at MIT Media Lab, got my engineering degrees from Aalto University, and worked professionally as a designer. I’m a Co-Founder and Artist at Ekho Collective, and I write sci-fi as M. W. Axelsson.

I lead design workshops for social robots with companies and academics. These workshops teach teams how to (ethically) co-design of social robots, and how to use the Social Robot Co-Design Canvases.
